Cathy Nyce has been leading people and teams for more than thirty years. She spent more than two decades at State Farm Insurance, working her way up from an entry-level claims role to leading marketing for the mid-Atlantic region.

Most recently, she was the Chief Marketing Officer at Maryland Auto Insurance, where her team won statewide awards for Overall Campaign of the Year and PR Team of the year.

She holds an Executive Certificate in Transformational Leadership and another in Leadership Coaching from Georgetown University, as well as a Certificate in Mindful Leadership from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business.

She is passionate about supporting and developing talent, both as an executive and as a leadership coach. And she’s a firm believer in the measurable business impact of coaching.

Based just outside Washington D.C., she is an avid dog lover and a foodie. She is a mom to two adult children and two rescue mutts. She has a sweet tooth, and likes to bake, or cook any recipe that includes a lot of butter.
